Beata
Someone once said that a writer is one who has never stopped writing. I fit this definition. For most of my life, I have written, whether diaries, short stories, essays or scientific articles. I am an engineer, scientist, meditation teacher and counsellor. I am currently working with mentally and physically challenged people, studying psychotherapy, and am transcribing sessions from my counselling and therapeutic work as the basis for research studies and essays.
I am fascinated by the human ability to change and transform when coping with difficulties and crises. I seek to discover more on this subject through conversation, but also find that writing allows me to deepen my understanding of the other person … as much as this is even possible?
My recent publication on the topic of the effects of travel on identity was published in ‘Elsewhere To Be’ by Aberdeen University.
