I started writing poetry in grade school, short stories in high school and blogging around college. In recent years I have been mostly writing articles about theatre and culture, but writing has always been a huge part of my artistic practice. I just finished writing/devising a new play for the theater in Chemnitz, and am working on a new children’s book as well as some short-form comics. I am particularly drawn to classic stories, legends, myths and fairy tales across all cultures. Storytelling, in all its forms, is at the heart of what I do: using narrative to make meaning with an audience.
