Chloe
I was born in 1996 in a little town called Winchester, in the South East of England. I’m half-British and half-Chinese. After a few weeks of being born, my Dad brought us to Hanoi where I spent four years as a toddler. We then moved to Ho Chi Minh City and when I was 14, I jetted off to Bangkok for high school.
I remember my childhood often packing up suitcases and moving to new places. The term used for children who have lived in countries outside of their parents’ home culture is a Third Culture Kid. Over the years, I found a love for languages - I speak Vietnamese, French, Spanish and some Arabic, which I studied for my bachelor’s degree at the University of Warwick in the UK.
In July of 2017, I launched my self-help blog (chloelingmason.com) whilst interning in Paris. Due to my interest in human psychology, I began to explore what makes people happy, and also successful. I researched about overcoming challenges like failure, depression, and how to deal with insecurities.
My dream is to become a full-time writer one day, and I hope to share my knowledge with the world.
