My name is Dimitra Didangelou and I was born in Greece. I spend most of my time writing in the inspiring mountain of Pelion, home of the centaurs, and travelling around the world—though my agenda always includes a visit to Berlin to see my friends and facilitate workshops. E.Y. Harburg’s phrase “My heart wants roots. My mind wants wings” totally resonates with me.
As a psychologist, I quickly discovered the power of the written word. My specialization is therapeutic and expressive writing, helping people gain insight into their lives, listen to their inner voice and enhance their creativity.
I love writing fiction based on real stories. It fascinates me because I believe that the unbelievable stories life brings in surpass even the most powerful imagination.
When I grow up, I want to become a writing nomad.
