Pete
I’m originally from the north of England, from a small town called Runcorn just outside of Liverpool, but I’ve been living in Berlin for ten years after stints living in York, Sheffield, Tokyo, and London. I’ve also spent significant time in Budapest. Along the way, I’ve been a reporter, writer, editor, journalist, teacher, and computer programmer. I’m now back to writing full-time.
My non-fiction work is based around whatever stories are interesting, so you’ll often find me writing about sports or the interesting people that I run into.
When I’m writing fiction—and it’s usually something that I’ve done to keep the pencil sharp—I try to write stories that are universal in theme—the differences between men and women, the spaces between us that hum with unspoken chords.
I have a website, too, if you’d like to come visit me (www.petecarvill.com), and you can also follow me on Twitter (@pete_carvill).
